Al-Ittihad Releases Top Scorer Hamdallah Amid Benzema Spotlight

Al-Ittihad has decided to part ways with Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah. Although he has helped the team win several titles since his arrival, the club has chosen to end their collaboration.
According to the local newspaper Arriyadiyah, the Moroccan is accused of overshadowing French player Karim Benzema, who is supposed to be the real star of the team.
Hamdallah had joined the Saudi club in January 2022. His performances speak for themselves: he contributed to the league and Super Cup victories in the 2022-2023 season and scored 21 goals, becoming the top scorer in the Saudi league for the third time, far ahead of Karim Benzema.
Despite his successes, the club’s management has decided to part ways with him before the start of the next season. The club is now awaiting budget approval to find a new player.
