Italy Drops TLS Contact for Visa Services After Moroccan Complaints

Under fire for several months, TLS Contact is losing one of its biggest clients in terms of visa issuance. The Italian embassy in Rabat has announced the replacement of the latter by a new operator.
The reduction in the number of visas granted by France to Moroccans has allowed the Italian authorities to understand the bad practices of TLS Contact long denounced by citizens. These include the rejection of files without any reason, long waiting times, corruption, fraud maintained by intermediaries and many other scandals that have led many Moroccans to forget their study, business trips to Italy.
After conducting its investigation based on denunciations, particularly from Moroccan artists against this operator, and after taking note of the CNDP report accusing it of transferring the images of Moroccans to foreign institutions, Italy has decided to terminate its contract with TLS Contact. A call for tenders has been launched and the choice has fallen on VF Worldwide. Pending the transition to this new service provider, TLS Contact should continue to process files as well as scheduled appointments.
Regarding visa applications made at the Italian Consulate General in Casablanca, the embassy announces the implementation of a new appointment booking system to facilitate the transition. The embassy and the consulate general in Casablanca "reaffirm their commitment to provide users with increasingly efficient, comprehensive and rapid services, within the framework of the management reforms carried out in recent years by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation".
