Israeli-Moroccan Teen Soccer Star Eyes Historic Role with Morocco’s National Team

The normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel could very soon arouse vocations within a new category of dual nationals. This is the case of the young Yaniv Edery, 17 years old, an Israeli-Moroccan player.
The young Israeli, Yaniv Edery, intends to realize his dream. This prodigy, trained in France and who has played in the Spanish championship, is on the radar of the sports authorities, reports "i24news". Contact was established between the two parties while the player was still in Spain.
In a statement to the channel, the 17-year-old back says he hopes to play for Morocco. This decision "would be a dream, because it is one of the best selections in the world." He also wants to become the first Moroccan player of Jewish origin to play for the national team.
