Israeli Foreign Ministry Official Visits Morocco to Boost Bilateral Ties

Alon Ushpiz, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, took a flight on Tuesday, July 6 to Morocco. A diplomatic visit that follows a conversation between Yaïr Lapid, the new head of Israeli diplomacy, and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita.
During this visit, the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the Ambassador, Director General of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Fouad Yazourh and officials from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports I24News citing a press release. On the agenda of this visit: ways to further promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
In a few weeks, direct flights between Israel and Morocco should start, it is specified. "Flights operated by Israeli and Moroccan airlines will greatly facilitate travel by tourists and businessmen between the two countries," welcomed the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Sunday, a Moroccan Air Force plane landed for the first time at the Hatzor military base, located in central Israel, on the eve of the start of a multinational military exercise scheduled for this week.
