Israeli Exports to Morocco Surge to $63.9 Million in First Half of Year

In the first half of the year, Israeli exports to Morocco reached $63.9 million, according to a joint report by the Israeli Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Israeli Institute of Exports.
Trade between the two countries is estimated at $250 million per year, the document notes, stressing that this trend is attributable to the strengthening of cooperation at different levels.
According to the figures, trade between Morocco and Israel increased by 1% in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year. As of the end of June, trade between the two countries reached $63.9 million.
Furthermore, the document notes, the restoration of relations between the two countries has allowed an increasing number of tourists from Israel to arrive. They are estimated between 30,000 and 45,000 per year, a figure that should increase significantly in the coming years.
