Israel Seeks Swift Restoration of Full Diplomatic Ties with Morocco, Says Top Envoy

Relations between the two countries should "reach their diplomatic peak - based on years of contacts, visits and common history," said chargé d’affaires David Govrin in a statement to The Times of Israel. For the Israeli diplomat, the potential of Morocco "is enormous".

Last December, the two countries had agreed to immediately reopen the liaison offices, while striving to "resume official bilateral ties and diplomatic relations as soon as possible."
