Israel-Morocco Direct Flights Set to Launch in July, Airlines Prepare

Repeatedly postponed, direct flights between Israel and Morocco could be operated as early as July 2021. Already, airlines are getting busy.
In a statement to the Israeli newspaper Mako, Gil Stav, vice president of the Israeli airline Israir Airlines, in charge of marketing, said that direct flights Israel-Morocco should finally start in July. "We are preparing to operate direct flights to Marrakech starting in July, and we expect Morocco to be an exceptional tourist destination, given the characteristics it enjoys, such as its beautiful beaches and nature," she confided. No document from an official source has, for the time being, been published in this sense.
"New destinations like Bahrain and Morocco are now facing security and bureaucratic difficulties, which has led to delays in setting up these flights," a well-informed source told the same media.
