Royal Air Maroc Appoints Representative in Israel, Paving Way for Direct Flights

Things are taking shape for the launch of direct flights between Morocco and Israel. The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has appointed its representatives in several destinations, including the Hebrew state.
Royal Air Maroc has appointed several representatives in different destinations, including Israel, reports InfoMédiaire. It has proposed lines for these destinations or plans to do so. RAM’s representative in Israel should take office starting September 1st.
During a meeting with the Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation, Ofir Akunis in Tel Aviv on April 20, 2021, Abderrahim Bayoud, head of the Moroccan representation office in Israel, said that direct flights between Morocco and Israel would be launched after Ramadan. Israeli airlines Israir, El Al and Arkia announced in June that they would serve several Moroccan cities including Marrakech as of July 25, 2021.
