Israel’s Israir to Launch Tel Aviv-Marrakech Flights, Boosting Morocco-Israel Ties

The airline Israir announces for July 19, the launch of a new route between Tel Aviv and Marrakech. This air link comes seven months after the resumption of relations between the two countries, and the signing of an air agreement.
In a press release published by i24News, the vice president of marketing of the Israeli company Israir, Gil Stav, announced that Morocco and Israel had agreed last December to resume their diplomatic relations and to relaunch direct flights. This is within the framework of the Trilateral Agreement Morocco-USA-Israel.
"We estimate that demand will be high and that hundreds of thousands of passengers from Israel will visit the destination as part of vacation packages or organized trips," said Gil Stav.
