Intoxicated Man Disrupts Prayer, Threatens Imam at Agadir Mosque

A man broke into a mosque in Tikiouine, in the Agadir region, last Wednesday, hurling insults and threats at the worshippers and the imam.
In an advanced state of intoxication, the individual chose the time of prayer to enter a large mosque in Tikiouine. The incident caused a climate of confusion and panic among the dozens of worshippers present, reports Agadir24.
About twenty years old, he forced his way through the rows of worshippers, trying to take the place of the imam. The latter had to move away, for fear of being assaulted, the same source points out.
The prayer was interrupted for a few minutes, and the individual, who kept making threats, was neutralized and expelled from the mosque by a handful of worshippers, the media concludes.
