Interpol-Wanted Spanish Drug Trafficking Suspect Arrested in Morocco

The elements of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) proceeded on Tuesday, June 14 at the Tanger-Med port to the arrest of a Spanish national subject to an Interpol red notice. He would be a member of a criminal organization active between Spain and Latin American countries.
The arrested Spaniard is 37 years old, the DGSN specifies in a press release, adding that he was wanted for his alleged involvement in an international network of hard drug trafficking and money laundering. He is also wanted by the Spanish judicial authorities for his alleged membership in a criminal organization active between Spain and Latin American countries.
After his arrest, the thirty-year-old was placed in pre-trial detention. For the time being, the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office is continuing.
