Interpol Fugitive Arrested in Spain: Moroccan Drug Trafficking Suspect Caught in Ceuta

A Moroccan, subject to an international arrest warrant issued by the Moroccan authorities, was apprehended on Tuesday by the Spanish Civil Guard in Ceuta.
The individual wanted by Interpol is suspected of belonging to a drug trafficking network, operating "by sea from the Moroccan coasts to the coasts of Ceuta", reports Europa Press.
The case of the accused will be examined by María Tardón, president of Central Court of Investigation number 3 of the National Court, who will be responsible for handling "all procedures relating to his extradition" to Morocco, the same source points out.
The Spanish Civil Guard congratulated itself on having been able to prevent "the judicial consequences of the illegal actions that would have been ’committed’ by this man and this, thanks to ’the police intervention and international cooperation.’"
