Interior Ministry Suspends Taroudant Official Amid Corruption Probe

The Ministry of the Interior has just suspended the deputy of a caïd operating in the province of Taroudant. A corruption case is the reason for this sanction.
"Concerned to impose the respect of the ethics that suits the public interest by the authority agents, the Ministry of the Interior has proceeded to the suspension of the deputy of a caïd in the province of Taroudant, against the backdrop of the opening of a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, for his alleged involvement in a case of corruption," the statement said.
It also added that administrative measures will be taken against the person concerned, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, depending on the results of the investigations and the judicial procedure.
