Settat Commune President Denies Corruption Allegations in Recruitment Scandal

The president of a commune in the province of Settat reacted to the accusations of corruption concerning a recruitment with the governor of the province.
The audio recording circulating on social networks about a supposed mediation by the president of a commune in the province of Settat for recruitment with the governor of the province in exchange for sums of money is "devoid of any basis," explains a press release.
The authorities of this commune assure that they have absolutely no connection with this case, promising that legal action will be taken against the accusations.
The competent public prosecutor’s office will be informed of this matter in order to open an investigation to determine the circumstances related to it and to establish the legal consequences that ensue, it is pointed out.
