Interfaith Group in Mantois Organizes Food Drive Amid Rising Pandemic Poverty

On the initiative of the Islamo-Christian Dialogue, Christians and Muslims of Mantois united this Saturday, January 30, 2021, for the 16th edition of the food collection for the food bank. The purpose of this operation is to help the most destitute, particularly affected by the health crisis related to Covid-19.
"The current health crisis has plunged many of our fellow citizens into misery and poverty," the organizers say. "They are added to the many precarious people who already existed. We see it every day around us, the needs are growing, and charitable associations can no longer meet the demand," they say.
The faithful participated in a one-day food collection in five stores in Mantois: Carrefour Contact in Mantes-la-Ville (Yvelines), Monoprix and Val Prim in Mantes-la-Jolie, Les Halles in Limay and Auchan in Buchelay.
