Intense Heat Wave to Sweep France as Moroccan Air Mass Approaches

A new episode of intense heat is expected in France next week due to hot air coming from Morocco.
Hot air from Morocco will blow over France next week. "The Azores anticyclone is moving up towards Germany, bringing with it increasingly hot air from Morocco and Spain. A period of intense heat is settling over our regions, before the return of thunderstorms in a heavy and oppressive atmosphere," warns the Weather channel. From Tuesday, temperatures will oscillate between 30 and 35°C in the afternoon in the southwest of the country, before dropping at daybreak near the Belgian and German borders.
Wednesday, a torrid atmosphere is expected in the afternoon from the south to the center of the country with 30 to 35°C and will affect 2/3 of the country. "In the north, the heat is more moderate with around thirty degrees, except near the Belgian and German borders with a very pleasant 26°C between Lille and Strasbourg," specifies the same source, forecasting a stormy evolution near the Atlantic in the late afternoon. Thursday, the weather will be very hot in the east and stormy in the west.
Friday will be a very hot day. The weather will be very hot everywhere with some thunderstorms. Intense heat will affect 3/4 of the country. Thunderstorms are expected in the evening from the west to the north of the country.
