Injured Benzema to Miss Club World Cup as Real Madrid Heads to Morocco

No doubt. French international Karim Benzema will be absent from the Club World Cup currently taking place in Morocco. The Real Madrid captain has not yet fully recovered from the injury he has been suffering from for several days.
Injured in the thigh during the delayed match of the 17th day of La Liga between Real Madrid and Valencia (2-0), Karim Benzema has not yet fully recovered from his injury. This injury also prevented him from participating in the defeat against Mallorca (0-1) on Sunday, February 5. He will also not be able to play the match against Al Ahly scheduled for Wednesday in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup taking place from February 1 to 11, 2023 in Morocco.
