Indian Renewable Energy Giant ReNew Power Eyes Green Hydrogen Investment in Morocco

Renew Power, a leader in renewable energy in India, is studying the possibility of producing green hydrogen and methanol in Morocco.
ReNew Power is showing interest in Morocco. Its president Sumant Sinha said in a recent interview with Bloomberg that his company plans to develop green hydrogen projects in Morocco. A second such project in North Africa for the leader in renewable energy in India.
Last year, ReNew Power signed an agreement for an $8 billion investment in green hydrogen projects in Egypt. The other stakeholders are: the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (Scone), the Egyptian Sovereign Wealth Fund (TSFE), the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) and the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA).
