Imam Narrowly Escapes Ax Attack in Moroccan Mosque After Witchcraft Accusation

The imam was the target of a madman who burst into the mosque to confront him. Witnesses to the incident said the defendant entered the mosque with an ax in hand to attack the imam.

He only escaped with his life thanks to the intervention of the worshippers who managed to prevent him. According to the defendant, the imam had cast a spell on him.

Informed, the royal gendarmerie services arrested the suspect, who was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
