Iconic Casablanca Beach Club Shuttered Over Tax Dispute

In Casablanca, the famous private beach, Tahiti Beach Club, has not been in operation since February 29, 2024. This is due to a decision by the local authorities.
The famous private beach, Tahiti Beach Club, is closed and all its equipment has been seized by the local authorities due to unpaid taxes. In a statement to Maroc Hebdo, an authorized source within the club confirmed the existence of problems with the tax collection in Bourgogne, before specifying that these problems are in the process of being resolved. The operation of this private beach in Ain Diab by Tahiti Beach Club has been done under a maritime concession for many years. But this concession was not renewed after its expiration.
Tahiti Beach Club describes itself as the largest private beach complex in Morocco. It consists of eight pools, renowned for their invigorating freshness and perfect integration into the natural environment of the coastline. One of the main attractions of the site is the fully renovated pools adapted for all ages, surrounded by lifeguards in charge of the safety and supervision of the youngest.
