Houthi Leader Condemns Arab-Israeli Normalization as Betrayal of Palestinians

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni resistance movement Ansarullah, says the Palestinian people consider the normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and four Arab countries, namely the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Bahrain and Sudan, as "a betrayal of their cause".
"The Americans and the Zionists are not very interested in the regional regimes that have normalized their relations with Israel," said Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi in a speech broadcast on August 8 on the occasion of the Ashura festivities. He calls for not trusting the United States and Israel as allies. These ties will, he said, only increase the likelihood of war between Arab countries. "The countries that have established diplomatic relations with Israel will intensify their military campaign against Yemeni territories," he added.
The Ansarallah leader also said that the United States and Israel seek to divert the Yemeni people from the path of justice. He is convinced that their wish is nothing other than "the humiliation, corruption and enslavement" of the Yemeni nation. "The United States and Israel are targeting the entire Yemeni nation. We are all responsible for facing such schemes. Any measure aimed at accompanying the enemies will be a step in the wrong direction and a blatant violation of religious beliefs," concluded Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
