Residents witnessed, on Wednesday, the collapse of a three-story building in the old medina in Casablanca. No loss of life or injury.
According to the testimonies of the residents, several households were living in this house located in the Derb El Miizi sector. These households moved out a few weeks ago, they say.
According to them, initiatives have been taken to evacuate the neighboring buildings that are in danger of collapsing. The only problem: the negotiations are struggling to succeed due to the "excessive" demands of the commercial premises tenants.
