Heroic Teen Rescues 9-Year-Old from Deep Well in Morocco’s Agadir Region

A 15-year-old teenager distinguished himself by a heroic act, by saving a 9-year-old child who had fallen into a 40-meter deep well, in Aourir, in the Agadir region. Such a diameter posed many difficulties for the civil protection elements during the rescue attempts.
Accompanying his mother to the forest, the child fell into an abandoned well. According to the Agadir24 site, the efforts made by the rescuers had not been successful, due to the narrowness and depth of the well.
It took the courageous intervention of a 15-year-old boy, who entered the well, with the help of the civil protection elements, to finally pull the child out. The latter was then able to be attached to a rope, during a second attempt, before being pulled back to the surface.
The child was taken to the emergency room of the Agadir hospital, while the residents and the authorities praised the heroic and courageous gesture of the young boy.
