Heavy Rains Trigger Deadly House Collapse in Fez Medina, Killing Five

A house in the old medina of Fez partially collapsed, causing the death of five people. The heavy rains of recent days would be the cause of this collapse.
The tragedy occurred around 5 p.m. in the Zkak Remmane neighborhood, near the Bab El Guissa Square. The old house, occupied by five people, gave way following the heavy rains that hit the region.
Alerted, the local authorities, the Wilaya of Fez, the Fez-Medina district, the Civil Protection and the security services quickly mobilized on the spot.
The perimeter was secured and the search began to try to find any survivors. According to local sources, all the people inside this three-story house are deceased.
