Heavy Rainfall Alert: Morocco’s Northern Provinces Brace for Storms

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts heavy, locally stormy rains in several Moroccan provinces tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2.
Rainfall of 30 to 50 millimeters (mm) is expected tomorrow, Tuesday, from 4 AM to 2 PM in Ouezzane, Larache and Chefchaouen, warns the DGM in an orange alert bulletin. Similarly, rainfall of 20 to 25 mm will affect the cities of Salé, Kénitra and Rabat this Tuesday from 5 AM to 2 PM.
The DGM also announces that rains (20-35 mm) will be recorded this Tuesday from 12 PM to 9 PM in the cities of Al Hoceïma, Guercif, Taourirt, Taza, Boulemane, Meknès, El Hajeb, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem and Khemisset.
