Living under certain latitudes could greatly influence our ability to fight diseases. A recent British study has just revealed the ranking of the countries most favorable to our immune health, and Morocco takes the very first place in the world.
The environment in which we evolve plays a crucial role in the robustness of our natural defenses. According to the "World Immunity Report 2026" published by the dietary supplement company Nature’s Best, the countries were evaluated on a total score of 80 points. In this global ranking, Morocco stands out magnificently on the top step of the podium with an overall score of 63.4 out of 80. The Kingdom shines particularly thanks to its warm and dry climate. It records one of the lowest average annual rainfall levels in the study (215 mm) and offers a very favorable average temperature of 19.2°C. In addition, public health indicators are positive, with a national obesity rate contained at 22.1%.
This ranking highlights a clear dominance of warm countries. India takes second place, closely followed by South Africa, Tunisia and Egypt, who complete the top 5. Algeria is absent from the ranking.

Conversely, changing the Moroccan sweetness for the British climate proves detrimental to the immune defenses, according to experts. The United Kingdom (28th) and the United States sink into the last five places in the ranking. Their poor scores are explained by a severe lack of sunshine, colder temperatures, but above all by particularly high obesity and smoking rates that weaken the body.
