Health Alert: Counterfeit Olive Oil Poses Serious Risk to Moroccan Consumers

Moroccan consumer protection associations are sounding the alarm about counterfeit olive oils, which pose a danger to the health of Moroccans.
Despite the control operations carried out by the authorities, these organizations warn of the seriousness of the situation. They warn that these oils, sold in many stores, could be deadly, warning that extreme vigilance is necessary to protect the health of Moroccan consumers.
The associations also advise victims to gather evidence and take legal action against those who have deceived them, calling for close collaboration between the authorities and consumers, by strengthening health monitoring and safety standards in olive oil production sites.
Faced with this situation, some associations are demanding severe sanctions against those responsible for this counterfeiting, to deter others from committing such acts.
