Hawaiian Surfer Billy Kemper Suffers Fractured Pelvis in Moroccan Big Wave Accident

Hawaiian surfer Billy Kemper suffered a fractured pelvis on Tuesday after a serious fall during a big wave session in Morocco.
Victim of this serious fall, the big wave surfer violently hit the bottom. "It was so violent, it knocked me out; and when I came back up, I was barely conscious. I did everything I could to scream or ask for help, but I couldn’t because my body was convulsing," he told Stab magazine.
According to the same source, the nature of his injury is not yet clear and he may also be affected in the knee and hip. According to the latest news, the surfer should soon return to the United States to undergo more extensive examinations.
Four-time champion, Billy Kemper, also winner of the Big Wave Tour in 2018, and four-time champion at Jaws (Hawaii), will certainly be sidelined from the spots for a while. For now, the Hawaiian has steely morale and assures on his Instagram account: "I’ll be back, stronger than ever."
