Hakim Ziyech: Thank you

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech expressed his gratitude to Moroccan supporters despite his non-selection by Walid Regragui for the next matches of the Atlas Lions.
In an interview with the channel of his club, he wanted to thank the fans for their unwavering support during this difficult period marked by a lack of playing time and an absence from the national team. "Moroccans love me immensely, I feel their support, their encouragement and it fills me with pride and honor to belong to this country and this great people. Thank you very much," said the Atlas Lion.
This message of thanks comes after the national coach, Walid Regragui, justified Ziyech’s absence for purely sporting reasons, related to his lack of playing time with his club.
"I contacted Hakim, it’s surprising the controversies over the list. Hakim must regain his form and work with his team, when he regains his best level he will return. The team has changed and the competition is tough. He needs to get playing time to be called up to the national team," the coach had explained during a press conference.
The Moroccan national football team, already qualified for the 2025 CAN, will face Gabon this Friday, November 15 in Franceville.
