The website of the Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research was hacked this Friday.
In a statement, the department firmly condemned "these irresponsible actions", which are likely to deprive citizens of information related to the sector. It also promised to take all necessary measures to strengthen the protection of data and information available on its website.
Also, it reassured that after the hackers’ misdeeds, its technical services were able to reset the website, after verifying the integrity of the data.
Furthermore, the department claims to be able to coordinate an investigation with the competent public authorities and to take legal action against the persons who committed this criminal act.
