Grisly Discovery: Human Remains Found at Abandoned Factory in Berrechid, Morocco

In Berrechid, while going to his disused factory to pay the guard his monthly salary, the owner discovered human remains gnawed by dogs. He informed the gendarmerie of Had Soualem and an investigation was opened.
The owner of this factory, which has ceased its activities, no longer has a guard. When he arrived on the premises, he was surprised to find that the door of the building was closed and that the guard was not at his post. He looks for him in vain. He manages to enter the warehouse where he comes across dogs gnawing on a skull and human bones, reports Al Akhbar. He alerted the local authorities who went to the scene accompanied by the gendarmerie and firefighters.
The gendarmerie elements carried out the initial observations on the bones and checked the remains of the guard’s clothes, as well as his identity card. The rest of the bones will be gathered and then transferred to the forensic medicine services of Errahma, in Casablanca.
A genetic analysis will be carried out by the forensic doctors, say sources close to the case. This expertise will reveal whether the bones belong to the guard and the cause of his death. He had not given any sign of life for more than 20 days.
