Google Cloud Outage Disrupts Services for Moroccan Users and Global Platforms

It was very difficult yesterday for many Moroccans to connect to the services of the Internet giant Google, hit by a major outage of its cloud platform, which it often boasts of the solidity.
This outage lasted a good part of Sunday afternoon and could only be corrected in the late evening and would concern Google’s cloud services. Other platforms, including YouTube, Gmail, G Suite, Snapchat or Discord, major users of the American’s cloud, were also affected by this shutdown.
Among the Google services affected, and according to several discussion forums, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Adsense, an advertising platform popular with many Moroccan websites, are mentioned.
Google quickly communicated on this on its page dedicated to service availability, talking about a "major network failure" and "network congestion" concerning servers installed in the United States.
This is not the first time that Google has suffered a major outage. Last October, YouTube, the world’s number one video platform, had experienced major problems and several other services, including Gmail, widely used by Moroccans, had also suffered from anomalies and slowdowns last November.
Quoted by the specialized site Engadget, a group spokesperson says the technical team will investigate this outage to prevent it from happening again in the future.
