Gad Elmaleh Defends Against Plagiarism Claims After US Tour Success

Gad Elmaleh took to his Twitter feed to respond to plagiarism accusations that have been plaguing him for several weeks now.

The comedian who disguises himself as "Chouchou" has responded in his own way to the serious accusations of plagiarism made against him by the YouTube channel, as he has just completed a triumphant tour in the United States. Netflix has just awarded him the prize for best comedy show.

"We take a word here and there, and we say he plagiarized," he says in particular.

Moreover, three years ago, Gad Elmaleh had embarked on a new ’challenge’ to prove that he is at the top. He had embarked on a tour of the United States.

"He starts it at Joe’s Pub, in the city of New York. His show Gad Elmaleh goes live is broadcast on January 24, 2017 on Netflix. Embarrassing confusions to disconcerting customs, the comedian recounts his brand new American life there," recalls the Journal de France. Gad Elmaleh also talked about Charlotte Casiraghi in his show.

And he didn’t stop there, as he toured the world with his stand-up Gad Elmaleh: American Dream, a show that also won over the critics.
