Gad Elmaleh and Celebrities Join Paris Initiative to Call Isolated Elderly During Lockdown

The Moroccan comedian, Gad Elmaleh, has been called upon by the Paris town hall to warm the hearts of the elderly, through telephone calls, during this difficult period of confinement.
These elderly people, used to staying alone, receive a little warmth through these calls. Together with his colleagues Franck Dubosc, Claude Lelouch, Elsa Zylberstein and other artists, Gad Elmaleh will participate in this operation, reports Le Parisien.
According to a press release from Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, these artists, accompanied by the sixty volunteers mobilized for the cause, will imitate the agents of the city of Paris who call elderly people isolated in this period of confinement every day.
