French Tourists Flock to Marrakech for Fall Getaways, Ranking 3rd Most Popular Destination

Marrakech remains popular with French tourists. A few days before the All Saints’ holidays, they will undoubtedly be very numerous to go there.
This is revealed by a recent analysis published by the website of the travel agency Opodo, which places the ochre city among the 3 favorite destinations during this month. Marrakech is thus ranked 3rd among the cities preferred by French tourists, behind Rome and Porto.
According to the press release, more distant destinations are also dreaming of the French. Thus, New York is the city most searched on its site. The American city is followed by Marrakech, Bangkok, then Saint-Denis (Reunion).
For these autumn holidays, 26% of the French plan to leave for All Saints’ Day, and 22% of them plan to go abroad, while 79% have chosen a destination in France, according to a CSA/Here barometer published this Wednesday.
