The Regional Directorate of Health of Marrakech has detected a case of Monkeypox. It would be a French tourist, according to a source at the Ministry of Health.
Another case of monkeypox has been detected in Morocco. And this time in Marrakech with a French tourist, according to the Ministry of Health.
The vigilance system was triggered following the symptoms presented by the French tourist who was on vacation in a tourist resort on the road to Ouarzazate. According to the information available to the regional directorate of health in Marrakech, the man was already carrying the virus before arriving in Morocco.
