French Tourist Arrested After Drunken Rampage Injures Five in Marrakech

The Marrakech police elements arrested and placed in custody a French national of Moroccan origin after he collided with several vehicles on a public road, injuring three cyclists and two pedestrians to varying degrees of severity.
A video posted on social media shows a spectacular scene that took place last Thursday in Marrakech. A car burst onto the public road and collided with several vehicles, injuring three cyclists and two pedestrians to varying degrees of severity. The driver, a 38-year-old French national of Moroccan origin, in an advanced state of intoxication, was surrounded by road users. Subsequently, the police intervened and proceeded to arrest the MRE.
While waiting to determine the circumstances of this case, as well as to identify all the acts attributed to him, the person concerned has been placed in custody.
