French Murder Suspect Arrested in Morocco Following Interpol Alert
A French national was apprehended this Friday in Ifrane based on information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The man was actively wanted under an international arrest warrant issued by the French authorities.
According to a statement from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), the fugitive was the subject of an Interpol "red notice" for his alleged involvement in a premeditated murder committed in Bordeaux.
After his arrest, the suspect was taken into custody. The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) will then inform the French authorities of his arrest, which will pave the way for a possible extradition.
