French man arrested Ceuta assault Morocco border crossing
A French national was arrested in Ceuta as he was about to head to Fnideq via Bab Sebta crossing. He is suspected of having struck his partner at the port, in front of several witnesses.
Spanish police arrested a French national in Ceuta as he was preparing to leave the city heading towards Fnideq via the Bab Sebta border crossing. The man is suspected of having assaulted his partner moments earlier.

According to Achkayen, the incident occurred at Ceuta port. The suspect was with his partner when he allegedly slapped her in front of several people. Witnesses, shocked by the scene, alerted police services.
After the incident, the man allegedly left the area leaving the woman in a shop, before driving to the waiting zone leading to the border crossing. Officers quickly traced him and intercepted him before he could cross the border into Morocco.

The French national was taken to the police station, where legal procedures were initiated. He is to be presented to the competent court to answer charges related to this alleged assault, treated under the framework of violence against women.
