French Lawyer Allegedly Raped at Party in Casablanca Villa

A French lawyer would have been raped during a drunken evening in Casablanca. Three "rich kids" are accused of this crime, as well as violence and the use of illicit substances.
The events are said to have taken place in Casablanca during the weekend of November 8-10. The victim and her fiancé, Mohamed Amine Naguib, an executive at the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), participated in a party in a villa located in the Anfa district and belonging to Kamil Bennis, son of the former president of the company Laprophan, Ali Bennis. Amine Najib is the son of Nadia Lyoussi, president of Agricolair Maghreb, and Abdelilah Najib. He is also the cousin of Kamil Bennis, a 37-year-old entrepreneur, active in the fitness field.
About a hundred people from the Moroccan upper bourgeoisie attended this evening, including M’hammed Alj, son of the president of the CGEM, Chakib Alj, and Saad Slaoui, Kamil Bennis’ partner in the R.W.C. project. The latter, as well as the two young men, are accused of rape with violence on the French woman and drug use during this private party. According to witnesses, the fiancée of Mohamed Amine felt humiliated after finding her fiancé in the company of an ex-girlfriend. In reaction, she would have associated with other guests including the accused. Overcome by sudden fatigue, she would have gone upstairs to rest in a room.
Subsequently, the French lawyer claimed to have been raped under the influence of the drug GHB. Back in France, she filed a complaint for rape. The medical examinations carried out confirm her version of the facts. At the same time, the victim filed another complaint in Morocco for rape. Her companion, for his part, filed a complaint for assault and battery. In his complaint, Mohamed Amine stated that he had two broken ribs after being prevented from inquiring about the health of his fiancée. Last Thursday, during his hearing by the Moroccan police, the victim presented the results of her medical examinations. The competent public prosecutor’s office could entrust the file to an investigating judge.
