Three Suspects Detained in Casablanca for Alleged Rape of French Lawyer

The investigating judge at the Casablanca Court of Appeal ordered the preventive detention of the three people accused of raping a French lawyer and assaulting her Moroccan companion.
After 72 hours of custody, the three accused, Kamil Bennis, M’hammed Alj and Saad Slaoui, were brought before the Attorney General of the King at the Casablanca Court of Appeal, who decided to refer the case to an investigating judge for an investigation to be opened for rape, kidnapping and violence, assault and battery, and drug use. Pending the results of the investigation, the three suspects were placed in preventive detention at the Oukacha prison, reports Le360.
A fourth suspect, A. D., alias "The Barber," accused of having participated in the rape of the young French lawyer, is actively being sought by the police. Mohamed Amine Naguib, the victim’s companion, who filed a complaint for assault and battery against the accused, is being prosecuted at liberty after being heard by the investigating judge.
The victim, a young French lawyer, accuses Kamil Bennis of having drugged and raped her during a private party organized on November 2 at the latter’s home in Casablanca. She filed two rape complaints: one in Casablanca and one in Paris. During her hearing on Thursday, November 21 by elements of the BNPJ, she presented the investigators with the results of the medical tests she had carried out upon her return to Paris, which would confirm her account.
