French Football Federation Withholds 8,000 Tickets from Moroccan Fans for World Cup Semi-Final

While 8,000 tickets were intended for Moroccan supporters to attend the match between Morocco and France in the semi-finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which ended 2-0 in favor of the Blues, the French Football Federation (FFF) refused to cede them.
Did the French Football Federation (FFF) fear Moroccan supporters? It refused to cede no less than 8,000 tickets to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). Of the 10,000 entry tickets to the Al Bayt stadium offered by FIFA to the FRMF, as well as its French counterpart, the FFF was unable to sell 2,000 tickets to its supporters and refused to cede the other 8,000 to the Moroccans, reports the daily Al Akhbar.
These tickets were not available on the official or parallel market. Faced with this situation, the Moroccan supporters who did not have tickets protested at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, where the Royal Air airline announced the cancellation of Casablanca-Doha flights "following the latest restrictions imposed by the Qatari authorities".
