The Moroccan subsidiary of the French group Newrest will now be in charge of the collective catering of prisoners in five regions of the kingdom.
The company has just won the tender launched last August by the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration for the collective catering of detainees in the penitentiary establishments of the regions of Fès-Meknès, Souss-Massa, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Marrakech-Safi and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra for a total amount of 490 million dirhams.
As part of this contract, Newrest will source food products exclusively from establishments approved or authorized by the ONSSA, in accordance with the regulations in force.
