Free Mobile Raises Call Rates for Morocco and UAE Connections

The French mobile operator, Free, is revising its rates from and to Morocco from September 4, 2021. The United Arab Emirates and France are also affected.
In an email sent to subscribers to its 150 GB, Série Free and 2 € plan, the French telecom operator informs that "the rates of communications from the United Arab Emirates as well as the rates of communications from and to Morocco" will evolve as of September 4, 2021, reports Univers Freebox. Thus, a call to a mobile from Morocco will be billed at €0.70/minute, while a call to a mobile from France will cost €0.70/minute against €0.54 previously.
The per-minute rate is €1.00 for calls to the United Arab Emirates, France or Europe. Same rate for a received call. The sent SMS will be billed at €0.50/SMS, down 70 cents in two years. The rate for a received and sent MMS is €1.00/MMS. In 2019, subscribers paid €9.6 for an MMS to France. Data will be revised downwards from September 4, i.e. €1.00/MB against €18/MB in September 2019.
