France-Morocco Flights Peak: Paris Routes Dominate Traffic

Marrakech-Menara airport confirms its status as a major tourist gateway for the Kingdom. According to data from the National Airport Authority, the facility welcomed 1,016,169 passengers in April 2026 alone, up 8.42% year-on-year. In total, over the first four months of the fiscal year, the airport counted 3,803,669 travelers, compared to 3,432,643 during the same period in 2025. This overall performance is based almost entirely on international connections which capture 961,408 customers in April, even though domestic connections surge 20.30% to reach 54,761 users.

French airspace concentrates the bulk of this record activity. For April, the route connecting Marrakech to Paris-Orly takes first place in the rankings with 78,229 passengers transported. The rest of the table confirms this Parisian monopoly: the Casablanca-Paris Orly axis comes just behind with 73,481 travelers, followed by Marrakech-Paris CDG services (60,667 people) and Casablanca-Paris CDG (52,158 clients). Faced with this strong concentration of connections with the French capital, the route connecting Marrakech to London-Gatwick comes in last with a volume of 48,233 passengers.
