France Edges Morocco 1-0 in Mediterranean Games U18 Football Opener

The Moroccan U18 football team lost to its French counterpart (0-1), Sunday evening in Oran, during the first day of the 2022 Mediterranean Games tournament.
Housed in group A, the young Moroccans were caught cold by a French team that made a good start to the match. The only goal of the game was scored by Amine Abderrahmane Messoussa in the 14th minute on a penalty.
During the second round scheduled for Tuesday (5:00 PM GMT+1), the Moroccan selection will have to bounce back against Algeria.
It should be recalled that the top two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday, July 2, while the final will be played on Tuesday, July 5 at the Miloud-Hadefi Olympic Complex (8:00 PM).
