Former Wydad Casablanca Soccer Star on Trial for Cocaine Trafficking

The trial of a former Wydad de Casablanca player has just begun this week. The latter is accused of drug dealing. Specifically, cocaine.
On Tuesday, the trial for drug trafficking of a former WAC player, along with another individual, began, while two other defendants in the same case have been released, including the son of a security official.
According to Alyaoum24, which is relaying this information, these arrests followed the arrest in Hay Moulay Rachid, in Casablanca, of 4 people who were in an uninsured vehicle. The searches allowed the police to discover three cocaine capsules and large sums of money as well as the arrest of the four people, including the former WAC player.
Two people, including the son of the security official, were released. The other two, including the former footballer, requested an adjournment to prepare their defenses. They were transferred to the Oukacha prison.
