On the evening of Sunday, August 18, 2019, Karim Alami’s son, barely 16 years old, lost his life in a tragic accident on the roads of the Indonesian volcanic island of Bali.
Widely known in the sports and media circles, the former Moroccan tennis star, still in shock, has received many condolences.
Karim Alami had brought joy to Moroccan tennis in the 1990s-2000s. Along with Hicham Arazi and Younes El Aynaoui, they had managed to raise the national flag on several occasions.
