Former Moroccan Soccer Star Falls Victim to Sextortion Scheme, Three Suspects Arrested

A former player of the Moroccan national team and analyst for a sports channel in the Gulf is one of the victims of a sextortion scheme. Three suspects have been arrested and are being prosecuted before the court of first instance of Oued-Zem in this case.
Three members of the sextortion network that was operating in Oued-Zem have been neutralized. One of them had approached a former player of the national team and analyst for a sports channel in the Gulf on social networks. He was posing as a girl. Subtly, he managed to film the former player in compromising and indecent positions, reports the Arabic daily Assabah. Then he blackmailed him. Not wanting to see indecent photos and videos of him on social networks, the victim transferred the sum of 150,000 DH to him.
The blackmailer does not back down. He demands more money from him. Annoyed, the former player has his brother file a complaint with the competent services in the town of Oued-Zem, which led to the opening of an investigation. The young man will be arrested and then placed in custody for the investigation. At the same time, the elements of the judicial police of Tangier who were collaborating with those of Oued-Zem managed to arrest the two accomplices of the blackmailer. All three are being prosecuted before the court of first instance of Oued-Zem.
