Former Moroccan Political Candidate Hospitalized After Shooting Incident in Sidi Ifni

Abdelouahab Belfqih, the former PAM candidate for the presidency of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, would have been shot in Sidi Ifni. The information circulated widely on social networks this Tuesday morning, creating emotion and consternation. But in reality the man would have tried to commit suicide in his residence, according to well-informed sources.
The news spread very quickly this Tuesday morning, leaving several unanswered questions in the minds of Moroccans. According to Goud, who has the information from credible sources, Abdelouahab Belfqih, who had in the meantime left the USFP to join the PAM, tried to commit suicide using his hunting rifle at his home in Sidi Ifni. He would have shot himself in the abdomen, a bullet that lodged in his abdomen.
According to these same sources, Abdelouahab Belfqih was urgently transferred to the military hospital in Guelmim in very critical condition, and his vital prognosis is currently engaged.
